I've had a similar experience with a home builder that believed they could do whatever they wanted to because their attorney held the deposit. Builders should realize that the homebuyer, who is paying a large sum of money and will live in the home, should get exactly what they agreed to - not something the builder feels like building. It appears that the second writer is the one throwing a tantrum. |

| | | | | | This potser should have known better: Beware of hack lawyers who typically serve as escrow agents for their home builder clients....home buyers don't stand a chance of recovering their deposits when the home builder breaches the contract, especially when the hack knows the local judges. |

Point well taken, Anonymous. Because of this and the increase in spam postings anonymous postings is now turned off. It's not a wide spread problem with this forum site but I have seen an increase in activity.
