Cannot create file "SMTPDiag.config"

A number of bug reports have come in recently reporting a cannot create file "SMTPDiag.config" error. The error typically occurs when closing the program. The problem exists only in older versions of SMTP Diagnostics and has been fixed in version 1.7.

I strongly recommend you upgrade your copy of SMTP Diagnostics if you are using an older version. Upgrading is free to all licensed users.

To find out if you have the latest version installed, select Help > Check for Update from the menu.
